Matthew 14:22-33
This story from the scripture is a real good one.
Jesus' disciples were all in a boat to go across the Sea of Galilee. It turned very stormy. Jesus was on the shore and saw their boat and started walking on the water towards it. The disciples were very afraid and at first didn't recognize him. Peter, one of the disciples, called out and said to Jesus if it is you Lord command me to come out of the boat and walk to you. Jesus said, "it is I." Peter got out of the boat and started walking on the water towards Jesus. Then all of a sudden Peter got distracted, taking his eyes off of Jesus and started looking around at the storm. As soon as he took his eyes off of Jesus, he started to sink in the water. Jesus came over to him, put his arm down into the water and pulled Peter up. Peter started crying as Jesus helped him into the boat. All the disciples were very amazed, and said, surely you are the son of God. Peter kept saying as Jesus held him in his arms, "Do not let me go. Do not let me go." Then the storm stopped.
Beautiful story.
Jesus will never let you go, never.
