Part 2 of Moses Story
SCRIPTURE
Exodus 3: 7-10 Old Testament
Moses grew up in the palace and became a prince; then eventually an outcast in the desert God spoke to him in a burning bush to go to the pharaoh and demand that he should let the captive, slave Israelites go. Aaron, Moses brother, was assigned to be his helper.
Oh course, Pharaoh emphatically said no! So ten times he pleaded to him and each time it was no! Each time God sent a plague to Egypt. Here are the ten plagues: the Nile River turned to blood, frogs invaded Egypt, gnats, flies, all Egyptian livestock died, bodily boils, hail, locust, total darkness, and finally the
death of the first born child and cattle . In all these plagues the Israelites were spared. The last plague, however, the pharaoh said yes, but after they left, tens of thousands of them, Pharoah changed his mind. His army chased after them with Chariots and horsemen. The Egyptains were gaining on them and the Red Sea loomed in the distance. Part 3 is next, The Sea Did WHAT?
