Genesis 6:13-9: 29

The Earth became a very wicked place and God commanded to  destroy it. God found only one righteous man, Noah.  So God did not want to destroy him and his family and also not the animals.

God decided to cause  a huge flood to cover the wicked Earth, but because Noah was faithful to God and listened to his voice, God gave Noah instructions to build a gigantic ship, an ark.  Noah and his sons believed God and followed God's instructions carefully.  When the ark was completed, Noah filled the ark with two of each kind of animal, male and female plus his family of course.

It rained for 40 days and nights but the  inhabitants were safe inside. At the very end, the floodwaters receded and God showed a beautiful rainbow.  The rainbow was God's promise to mankind and to Himself,  that He would never, ever  cause a flood of that magnitude to destroy Earth again. That promise is called a covenant.

LESSON

Believe in God, listen to Him, and remain faithful.  God will save you. 💕
