Today the story is an about Jonathan, David's closest friend. Jonathan and his father King Saul, were both murdered together on the battlefield. When David heard the news of this, he was very, very sad. The story takes place in the Old Testament in the book 2nd, Samuel and this is what David said. "I am distressed for you my brother Jonathan you have been very, very loving to me." This is called a lament. I am not quite sure of the lesson from this because it's about grief. The story goes on and on in the Bible about David's sadness and saying that when we remember somebody who has died, we need to remember many good things about them not just one or two things. That's what I got from it. 💕
